After a few weeks of bridge work further west in Millrift PA, SU-99 makes a daylight run with a trio of M-2s and SD40-2 3024 wearing its new silver and maroon heritage paint. This is the first time 3024 has traveled the southern tier since being repainted.

It’s always nice to see some Erie paint (kinda) on Erie tracks, also seeing SU-99 a bit early is pretty nice too. Even though my hands almost froze off it was worth it. Thanks for watching!

Operation Toy Train (OTT) brought the Toys For Tots train into Port Jervis for the first ever time! This will also be the new storage location for their equipment and will partially be used for the new museum at the turntable. 12/12/21 (Any music in the video was not added, it was being played publicly and I couldn’t do anything about it)

Definitely worth getting my hands frozen off lol. This is the first time an NJT F40 has visited Port Jervis since 2012. Hopefully we see 4119 or 4120 visit more often. Thanks for watching!!

Is there any way to make these cars able to run on 18 In. radius?
Not too sure with these newer runs but in the older run you could make them run on 18 radius by removing some of the side detail by the trucks, along with loosening the screw by a little bit. It should work with these as well but i haven't tried it myself.
Maybe you could get another to do that experiment.
@@amtrakpepsiproduct1605 I don't run my horizons on my 18 radius, mostly because its meant to be a run down shortline, so theres no need for me to experiment. If i were to get any more horizons they would be Rapido instead of Walthers lol
Your GE ac6000 run perfectly. I have one and my brother has another both are from the Southern Pacific railroad mine is #600 my brother is # 601. Although at my model railroad club ( Silicon Valley Lines ) they both for some reason ran slow which is werid My Southrrn Pacific Ge u38c can go pretty fast and it’s a few months old. ( I got it in augest and the ac6000 somewhere in November. ). I tried to run the ac6000 with the u28c apparently the u28c was pushing the locomotive and took awhile until the train can finally move my brother said it’s cause they are from different eras which I know THAT isn’t true right ? Cause you can program each locomotive even if they are from different eras or different brands they would still run. nonetheless the two helped push the u boat up the loop and pulled their own train. But yours is nice nonetheless

I got it to work now
yup you are able to program any locomotive together from any brand or era. However the speeds which the locomotives run will still not be the same unless its a pair of similar locomotives from the same company (example AC6000 6001-6000), when they are completely different (example Rapdio B36-7 - Atlas GP40-2) usually you will have to speed match the set by programming CVs. i do it a bit of a different way when im running a pair of engines, since my controller has two speed knobs for different trains i can tweak speed steps for each locomotive individually while still running together.

It would be nice if you spoke and gave your opinion. You're obviously an experienced modeler so it would be nice to hear your opinion. Are you satisfied with this model and how does it compare with other HO E units? Would you buy one again?
i actually thought about this after i published the video and decided to do that for the next reviews! Currently i am very satisfied with the model, the detail and running characteristics are very good. One thing i wish they did add was tri-color class lights. I would say at the moment this is probably the most accurately detailed E unit on the market, it would take a lot to compete with these. i would most definitely buy another one if a roadname interests me!

Wait a minute, that’s not the throttle. It has a power brake handle called a master controller. And the acs 64 or Amtrak’s cities sprinter, has 3 types of brakes. Dynamic. Auto, and independent
My camera was facing the brake while he was actually pointing to the throttle, a little after that he talks about the train brake and independent brake where my camera was

Last time this happened that I'm aware of is 2016 after the Hoboken derailment. With curtailed schedules, trains 47 and 66 ran with a multilevel set. Do you know the train number here?

Is Red Onion Detector even there still?
Sorry for late reply, unfortunatly the red onion was replaced with a newer detector right after the new year. Currently milepost 81 (shin hollow) is the only one of its kind left if it wasn't replaced already

Unfortunately i got word yesterday that both detectors were officially replaced, marking an end of an era sadly
